Alan Summers

Managing Director

Alan started his career working for Investment Banks. They included Schroders, Barings and Scandinavian Bank where he engaged with technology and the business to develop leading-edge systems and solutions for trading, risk management, operations and finance. These systems were then successfully sold to other banks. 

In 1992 he created S&H Consulting to provide resourcing and consulting services to banks with a focus on People, Delivery and Quality, working with clients including BNP Paribas, UBS, Morgan Stanley, Credit Suisse, Deloitte, KPMG.  

In 2019, he sold S&H to Sheffield Haworth and led the successful integration and transition of S&H into their business with a new operating model. In 2021, he created ADS Resourcing, simply Providing People Who Deliver. Its approach is consultative, and delivery focussed combined with practical, pragmatic and realistic proposals based on clients’ needs.
